Hometown: Chicago, IL
About Me: Growing up around such a large city like Chicago I have been surrounded by construction all my life, however it wasn’t until I was a senior in high school that I started learning about the career opportunities available in the industry. This was through the ACE Mentorship program where I got the experience to work with professionals in creating a mock building proposal for a community clinic. From that experience I realized that an education and career in construction would check all the boxes for what I was looking for: working with others, never facing the same challenge, and working on something that can be observed and utilized. I have enjoyed the short amount of time that I currently have in the major and I am looking forward to getting more involved in the Myers-Lawson School of Construction.
