About Me: I chose CEM at Virginia Tech to satisfy both my interests in business and engineering. Having little to no idea what CEM was when I first started here as a general engineer, I quickly realized that I wanted to enter an industry that was not only profitable but personable and filled with comradery. I have always been an outgoing individual who enjoys the outdoors and being on a team. I have been given many opportunities here at the Myers-Lawson school of Construction to include the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). CMAA is a professional development organization that focuses on networking and preparing for the CMIT exam to become a registered Construction Manager. I am looking forward to my first year as a CEM ambassador and passing along any tips and tricks to the newest group of Construction Engineers.
